BACKSTORY.
Ambrosia Vixen Darcy Delvaux lived a comfortable childhood in their large manor at London, England. Young as she was, Amber found a love for athletics. She did not shy away from trying out different sports such as basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and the like. Between you and her, she favored swimming the most. On the other hand, her brother Ambrose loved ice skating the most. Their parents happily supported their interests, attending all of their meets. In fact, between their rooms was one dedicated to their many medals, trophies, and awards for their active participation in athletics.But more than comfortable, they also had a magical childhood in the very literal sense. Their parents were high level wizards that were experts at wandless magic and silent spells. This made a great impression on how Amber would perceive magic. This was especially apparent when her brother received his letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That day the letter came, her established ideas of magic at a young age were reformed. Even more so when she was given her own letter to attend the magic boarding school the next year.Ambrosia was in utter awe from platform 9 and three quarters, past Diagon Alley, and finally arriving at the Hogwarts castle. Once in front of everyone, the Sorting Hat recognized her magic signature as similar to that of her family. Would she be a Gryffindor like her mother? A Ravenclaw like her father? Or perhaps a Hufflepuff like her brother, who watched her from his place? After what felt like both seconds and a century later, it was finally decided that Amber was to be in the House of Slytherin.There, she befriended her fellow snake Andrei who helped teach her the ways of magic. And there was this annoying Gryffindor prick Sebastian that constantly irritated her. That was when she realized that there were set ways on how to execute such enchantments. However, you could say that Ambrosia was built different and so she struggled to keep up with her classmates. The Darcy Delvaux siblings had to deal with bullying in their first few years at Hogwarts for not fitting in.By her third year, Amber became a whole different witch. Instead of typically following lectures, she concocted her own spells and used magic her own way. It was a different process, but she got to the same endpoint as the other students. On some occasions, her way was even better. At this time, the rest of Hogwarts recognized the siblings as a special pair indeed.After graduating from the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Ambrosia went back to the muggle world to pursue tertiary education. She was able to get admitted under the Human Sciences course. She also applied for the Mind Brain Behavior Initiative in Harvard as a contributing researcher. Her time at Hogwarts opened her eyes in regards to learning and the education system. The witch will certainly return to her alma mater in the future.

ATHLETE.
Amber has always been an incredibly active person. This energy manifests in her being dedicated to her work, but also in sports. She enjoys a wide array of sports and thinks that team-oriented sports are most enjoyable. Of course, that doesn't mean that she relies on teammates all the time as she is a proud girl that could certainly carry her own weight. Amber just enjoys how this is a great way to bond and make friends while also showcasing different skills. Otherwise, she is an incredibly competitive person who wants to be the best in as many fields as possible.The sports that she takes part in are swimming, basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, and baseball. But this is only to name a few. She loves trying out new sports and if they stick then that makes her extra happy as she believes each sport brings out a different side of her. Because she engages in many areas, she is better known as a jack of all trades. But she will undoubtedly keep improving so don't keep your eyes off of her just yet. It is also her involvement in a variety of sports that makes her one of the most diverse players in her teams. Witness as she goes from being a jack to an ace!

SLYTHERIN.
Andora Darcy and Asphodel Delvaux met as Hogwarts student. The former was a Gryffindor golden girl while the latter was a classic bookworm Ravenclaw. An unlikely pairing but the two muggle-borns felt like they were a perfect match. After graduating the prestigious wizarding school, they decided to live in the muggle world together. They married and had their first child, their son Ambrose. A year and a day later, Ambrosia Vixen Darcy Delvaux was born.Although raised in the muggle world, their home was full of magic. As the couple were experts at wandless and silent magic at the time they had their kids, Amber never really heard the words to the spells they casted. That was her first impression and input regarding magic. But in their pre-teen years, Ambrose got his Hogwarts letter and she had a glimpse of what magic was like there. It was different, certainly. She didn't know how to feel about it at the time- seeing her brother in big robes and using this wooden wand.But she would get a chance to further delve into those thoughts as it was revealed to their family that her older brother Ambrose had unlocked a soul shifting ability after an incident at Hogwarts. Tracing it back to The First War between good and evil witches and wizards, it was the side of evil that could shift into the soul of another being, be it a person or animal. And after pursuing the family line, it was revealed to be the ancestry of Asphodel, their father.It was a lot to take in. Amber had always thought they were special for simply having magical family. But now they apparently came from a line of evil witches. This, however, was only the beginning for Ambrosia received her own Hogwarts letter the following year. Now, many would argue that Slytherins are evil. Well, if that's the case, why do you want to be them so badly? All teasing and cockiness aside, she might just be the nicest Slytherin you'll meet. Might be. She's more of the hyperactive, good energy, but will still totally be cunning to get her way. Amber is also incredibly loyal to her friends.Coming from a very diverse new-blood family, Amber was definitely one of the new students talked about in her batch. Well, that was one reason. Another was how she didn't seem to absorb the material that her professors were giving her. It appeared that she struggled with a few spells in the beginning, but would make up her own words and rituals to get the same result. The teachers found that very odd, wondering if Amber was shifting souls to aid her as she must share that ability with her brother, but it was disproved.So what was it? Her unique ability was finally up for investigation when she somehow managed to cast a wandless spell of her own incantation in a duel against a higher level student. As the young snake felt like she was in danger, it appeared to be a last resort tapping of some inner force. Eventually the professors uncovered the truth behind those abilities she possessed.On her mother's side was a clan of the most resourceful wizards, able to create spells and magical items. The best of them could even come up with incantations on the spot. And the most elite of them were given the title of Master Builders, able to create magical items with whatever materials they could have. Just as Asphodel’s ancestry, they were also fighting on the side of evil in The First War. It was important at the time of combat to work with what you have. This family of wizards, along with all other magic users on the side of evil had their powers disabled. Forced to live a mundane life where they could no longer do harm.Though generations and generations later, Andora and Asphodel were given magic by Hogwarts. And their children, Ambrose and Ambrosia, incorporated magic in their life as well. The two siblings were outcasts due to their oddities. Ambrose would occasionally possess a soul to pull pranks on the other students while Amber was constantly told she was a slow learner when she ultimately found the spells and processes too complex and clashing with her own style of doing things. She was dubbed as Slytherin’s Princess for nearly never following the rules and showed just how spoiled she was. If that was how they saw her, so be it. She was also thought to be sharp and unafraid to strike, earning her the nickname Vipress as well which was a combination of Viper and Empress.She actually found most things in Hogwarts a little silly. Like quidditch especially. As an athlete in the muggle world, she could not comprehend the rules and point system of the game. But she was the only one who understood quidditch rules and held a deep comprehension for muggle sports, so she always ended up as the commentator for the games.Amber was a part of the Azkabanned team that organizes and promotes events for wizards and muggles alike. It is here that she interacts with her fellow Snake, and a bumbling Lion. Later on, she was recruited by a Secret Society intended on stopping the evil wixen, similar to her own ancestors for a short period of time.After graduation at Hogwarts, she spent time studying in the muggle world. There, she plans to obtain her degree in Human Sciences as well as contribute to significant research regarding education. Upon gathering enough experience, Ambrosia intends to enter Hogwarts once more as a professor to start and eventually make her way to becoming the headmistress. It is her vision that she will reboot their system and allow students more freedom in their learning, shifting from the traditional methods to a cognitivist and connectivist paradigm.
